I use my disc channel for this games, I patched the .iso's, and they all work perfect runing them thru the disc channel

I just don't like unprecise questions from people who didn't try to get their answer for themselves. If he looked he would have seen that he can patch the .iso, and it would have beed a much better question if a patched game works via disc channel. My no meant, there's isn't a on the fly patch for 002 via disc channel or rebooter.

Stupid question:
Why is my toy still mentioned in the 1st post? I mean, a clear seperation would be better:
- good modchips:
install the required IOS and run the game via disc channel

all others:
- patch and burn the .iso or
- use one of the 002 fix loaders

Is it remotely possible that something similar to menu patcher could be made utilising the 002 fix, in the not so distant future, so that we dont need to patch games, and run it through disc channel with a soft modded wii?

If we get backups via disc channel for softmodders then the same person who does this, only has to take 5 minutes to look how the 002 fix works. Then either the patch is included or it's very very difficult to add the fix for this method.

You mean cIOS36_r8, that's what need to have the fix, check the first post again WiiPower and tell me if you still think it needs some more clarification...!!!

I still would like to see more clarification. You don't need to seperate Gamma and SoftChip users. Both need either to activate the 002 fix or a patched copy. I mean you should really make clear that you only need to patch the .iso if you want a patched copy.

That's much better, a little fine tuning would not be wrong. Modchip users can use SoftChip with the correct IOS and 002 fix, that's the way i would prefer if i had a modchip.

Wiipower whats the difference between your Gecko OS and QLeap's in simple terms please ?

also with Bleach Vs i can use softchip with IOS36 or 55 ive not installed 53
with 55 and the game will boot from disc channel patched but sadly with a 1:1 gives me the 002 error due to my pants chip without 55 it just blackscreens.

The guy who was having trouble with PAL 50 now has the game working so i really dont know why its freezing for me in PAL apart from he was using the video cable that came with the Wii

Wiipower whats the difference between your Gecko OS and QLeap's in simple terms please ?

His Gecko OS uses a cIOS for korean discs if i understood correctly,and mine is just the "normal" Gecko OS with 002 fix. QLeap patches the 002 error several times if needed, but not in a way you would expect it, mine just patches once. But i don't know if my Gecko OS is really based on the latest official Gecko OS as Nuke released the code incomplete and with a endless loop.

I think because it is not a mayor issue to fix, hence just 2 or 3 games need it...!!!

Yeah bleach only works pal 50 for pal users.
