Thanks...is there a way to do it with just an SD card and not the SD gecko? And is there a way to get your NAND key known so that you can decrypt the NAND dump (if that is needed for this process)?

Is it a game that hasn't already been dumped? If you look around you will find pretty much every game you can think of available for download so why extract your own?

Maybe but everything's so scattered related to this shit...you have to search everywhere for every little new thing...there's like no organized tutorials thread or anything on any of these forums. Noobs have a tough time finding certain things. I still can't even find an answer (and no one answered it here) on whether or not you def. have to have an SD gecko to dump NAND

Learn to read? The readme file that comes with the file system dumper doesn't mention SD gecko one single time

-Flaming removed- Here is the README for Waninkoko's and that's what everyone uses...sure looks like it mentions SD Gecko to me:

REQUERIMENTS:

- SD Gecko
- A way to load homebrew

HOW TO USE:

1. Insert the SD Gecko in Slot A.
2. Insert a SD card with at least 512 MB of free space.
3. Run the application and wait until it finishes.

NOTES:

The dumped NAND is encrypted. To decrypt it is needed the
console's NAND key (do not ask me about how to get it).

I said file system dumper and you posted the readme from the Wii NAND Dumper
file system dumper does not equal Wii NAND Dumper

The File System Dumper does dump the NAND.

I know, it dumps the filesystem of the NAND but I guess the NAND dumper dumps the whole encrypted, larger NAND. Either way, I only wanted to know if a Gecko was required to do the full NAND dump which I guess is yes. It's all good now.
