Hi all Ive tried all I could but i can not get the snes9x mod to display my covers. I have my roms on a hd and they load just fine. I have the covers on both hd and sd but it never seems to work. Do i have to name the file the covers are in something specific other thank the defualt "snes Boxart"and where should i put the covers folder (I'm asumming in the snes9x folder.) thanks to anybody that can help.

@jabmaster2 - well first things first, do you have the SNES9x GX 4.1.5c edition? If not, you can download that from here -> http://www.psikostudios.com/wii/snes9x/SNE...GX_4.1.5.c4.zip

From there, you need a folder named "Covers" in the snes9xgx folder, same place as the roms. From there, just follow the naming standards for the cover.

the naming rules for images...
1) take the full name of the rom and drop the extension
2)if the name contains "[" drop that, everything after it, and the spaces directly before it
3)truncate what you have left to fit in a char[64]
4)add .png

-psiko

like this
snes9x/covers/super mario bros.png
snes9x/roms/super mario bros.zip

super mario bros.png
super mario bros.zip

and so on

I add a comment in the official Snes9x Wii enhancement section =P
Hopefully it can be added in the next official build, we need your signs guys!!!

I tried this, but it doesn't seem to work. For the rom, do I need to put the extention .zip on each one as well?

try this way :

sd:\snes9xgx\images\Super Mario World.png
sd:\snes9xgx\roms\Super Mario World.zip (or Super Mario World.smc or .sfc for non-compress game)

Zip is only for compress roms, it take less place but you can leave it in it's format sfc or smc that's doesn't matter but use the same name for game and picture

I have tried many different image packs and cannot get any of them to display in this. Images are png and match ROM names. ROMs load properly, so I'm not sure what the issue could be.
