its really pissing me off not able to create icons.
i know its only 16 colour. 32x32.

i want to change the dsorganise icon so it hasnt got transparency. so i extracted the icon, used photoshop to set it to no transparency, 16 colours,32x32. ok? i save it as a .gif. i used dsbuff to try to replace the icon. it says make sure its 32x32 16 colours. it is! its been annoying me for hours!

if i use paint, it just makes it trasparent
any help/ideas why?

oh and i want to make some transparent not all on another icon.
its really annoying :@. it meets all the requisites: 32x32 16 colours!

well, a gif worked on one.
theres no tutorial on how to create icons... it can be frustrating....

I think youre getting mixed up....icons for AKAIO (used w/AK2) need to be 16bit 32x32 .bmp...

the 24bit 32x32 icons for DSO should be .png, not .gif

i built an excellent theme/iconSet for DSO, feel free to use it as a template to make adjustment(s) to your icons

He's not talking about DSO or AKAIO icons, he's talking about the actual icon of the .NDS file. The one embedded in it, in the header. The one which is shown in most homebrew loaders.

im now using paint.net and its working BUT, the colour black is now transparent. white used to be transparetn now its the colour black! i want NO transparency. its making me are my hair out!:@

so i try to use ms paint, and white is the transparent colour!!!!!!!

fuckin give me a break!
