I use ESP8266 with my ps4 to load hen. Actually i use a retrogamerfirm5_1_2.bin and i would like to put new vortex hen release that allow to install fpkgs into an external drive.
But i don't know how to create a bin file to send to esp8266.

if I recall retro gamers bin included an FTPD? Just use that to update the .html for hen on the ESP, replacing it with the one from VTX. I forget what name retro used, but probably something like hen.html (I am not sure I have any ESPs with his bin on it any more, I moved on to building my own). No need to create a new bin. You cal also update the index.html to add in offline caching if you want. It is a simple update of 1 or 2 lines (depending on his index) and the addition of the offline cache list file. Or use one of the other solutions that updates the offline cache bin file directly. Both methods will work, but the db one adds in all files at once, the editing of the html+ offline cache list requires you to launch whichever files you want to cache at least once.

There is another bin that should have everything you need too, https://gbatemp.net/threads/my-5-05...ant-fork-of-kiiwiis-big-thanks-to-him.506200/
