I was wondering if it was possible to code OpenGL C++ without using the graphics library FreeGlut, and if so how? I have researched this topic thoroughly and all of the articles I has seen use FreeGlut none seem to use just plain OpenGL.
The reason I am trying to program OpenGL C++ without using FreeGlut is i was hoping I could code only using Atom text editor and g++, without downloading and installing a series of libraries and applications.
Thanks in advance for any light that can be shed upon this question.
