Hacking How to clean screen protectors?

I was wondering if anyone knew what the best method to go about cleaning those adhesive screen protectors.
I did a horrible job applying mine and there's small particles of dust sticking to it. If anyone knows it would be much appreciated that they share this information. Thanks!

Edit: Also I would like to know how to take it off xD

Use a strip of scotchtape/cellotape and apply the sticky side on the screen protector. If you do it carefully, the dust on the protector will stick to the tape.

To take it off, use the tape too. Make sure the tape covers one of the corners of the protector and pull it. Do this several times until the protector peels off.

That sounds like a good idea... but I'm sure I will try it, and it wont end well at all
