Gaming How to adjust brightness in-game using codes?

I saw this cheat available but it did not tell me how to change.(as in which button to press to adjust light)
anyone knows?

Every game in the cheat database I maintain has this cheat available to them. Heres how to work them, hold L+R+SELECT then press UP to increase brightness or DOWN to decrease brightness.

Hm, if you bought your ds phat within 6-10 months of when it was first released. Then you most likely have the first edition of it.
