Hacking How to add cheats?

I have the newest version of AKAIO, and YGO 09.
The official cheatdb doens't have any YGO 09 codes yet, but I've found some already on other sources. Though I have no clue as to how I add them.

So, if I can't download them from a computer or wifi, how do I put them on the cart?

1. Get a CHEAT.DAT File (Any will do, but the latest from here is best)
2. Follow this guide into adding cheats
3. Put the cheats into the appropriate section of your AceKard (You should know. If not, it is either in the __aio, cheats)

Wait, how do I open the cheat.dat? From the DS or the CP?
I tried opening the cheatdat but it wouldn't do anything...

i'll guess File > Open, but without r4cce in front of me it could be something other iteration of the same syntax.

When I try to open the cheat.dat, it says "Windows cannot open this file, to open this file Windows needs to know what program youw ant to use to open it."
I tried dling another cheat.dat, but it said the same thing...

It shows exactly there what to do, and it makes me feel like I wasn't even noticed xP

The program on adding cheats might not have a link in the thread. So just search it or something.

Sorry, I did look at it. It shows the screen of it opened, but not how it's opened.
I CAN'T OPEN IT. Your helpful File > Open comment didn't help much.

Well whatever, I see this site isn't exactly friendly towards tech-noobs.

play with the app. you won't break anything. usually the way to "open" a file is under the "file" menu of an application.

If you are still having trouble, I am sure many people are willing to put it in. I can put it in. Just post up the cheat, game, desired cheat title, and it should by up and working.

And just as Another World has said, it is not like it is going to break or anything. If you have any problems, just re download it and same with the Cheat File too.
