How to activate TempAR in Adrenaline

Since only a few people [maybe nobody..] manage to run the cheat-plugin TempAR for PS1 on Adrenaline
without crash or black-screen, I'm going to show you how to do this.

To open TempAR without errors, please follow these instructions.
NOTE: if you already have installed my Files (seplugins) you only need to follow point 3. and 4. .

1. If you have old versions of TempAR or CWCheat installed you need to delete these two plugins
and install my Files below seplugins for Adrenaline 7.x.
The download includes TempAR and CwCheat.

(NEW: for Adrenaline 8.0.2 use Adrenaline 8.0.2 Files and delete the old ones in seplugins)

2. Set the settings exactly as in the picture below.
Push select to open Recovery Menu / Plugins / Enabled

3. Use these settings to control TempAR without problems.

4. To open TempAR, press first the HOME BUTTON in game-play after that
hold DOWN+TRIANGLE to open TempAR and push HOME BUTTON again.
Please set [Pause Game True] in the TempAr menu.

how would anyone figure out in that sentence why TempAr won't open on your console. How?

It was short because that was my problem, thank you for wasting my time by not helping me.

sorry but could you give more detail how to access the setting? all I could find is this but do not have the L2 R2 setting as your pics.

Correction, 5. Controller Settings, Assign Buttons, Custom. Now I know OP is full of it.

I also Recommend to remove all Back-Touch buttons.

I dunno which is wrong but after I selected "Open Offical Settings" on Adrealine menu, the only setting show up is like 2 pics I sent above, no such thing as Other Settings or Controller Settings (

I did everything stated here, and opened up Crash Bandicoot. The CWcheat menu will pop up and cheats work. However, after hitting home, and holding down+triangle, the game pauses and nothing else happens. No TempAR menu shows up, the game just pauses. Hitting circle resumes the game. The same happens whether I open through Adrenaline itself, or through a bubble. Also tested with Spyro, to the same results.

Edit for clarity: I can get the menu to open in PSP games by hitting R+PS. But for PS1 games, it only pauses the game.

Figured it out!!! the TempAR menu isn't opening bc of the adrenaline settings not being default, go to the adrenaline settings where you adjust graphic/screen size & go to the bottom & click "Reset Adrenaline Settings" then it worked for me! hit home then down+triangle & go from there it should open right up, everything the OP said works great. Thanks tomberyx!!!
