Hacking How Shall I Test my Install?

I was so relieved that my Wii still works. I was thrilled that the green LED came on.

I thank everyone for the advice and links on soldering and for the encouragement. Lemme just say that the Wasabi and Wii-Chip are reasonably idiot proof. My Wii plays the Sports disk and it plays a copy of Twilight Princess. What should I do next?

Chances are... if the drive will accept and eject discs... your wasabi install is OK.

But yeah, homebrew/backups will let you be certain.

Yes, but brick-block or FreeLoader can prevent this ... which is nice

Even if he get a double channel there is a way to remove it

yes there is a way to remove it but its best not to get in the situation in the first place.

Acid test 1. I played Okami and did the update. Everything is fine.

Acid test 2. I put in Asterix - someone is playing now, must be good because I hear laughs.
