Hacking How safe is coinsetter?

Does anyone know how safe the coinsetter is? Does it damage or modify something of the system that is important?

I don't think so. I've been using it for a while.

It's a legitimate Nintendo Developer application. I think it's fairly safe.

It modifies the quantity of play coins you have. Not very important but still. I use it since it was released and I think it is 99% safe.

I've used to to get every picture tile on the Mii channel and finished Find Mii countless times.
Also, I've been buying with them in Super Smash and nothing happened at all.
