How often should I replace my Switch's battery?

That really depends on your usage. Li-ion batteries usually can cycle 300-500 times before its capacity drops significantly. If you play in handheld mode all the time then you should replace it when your switch shuts down all of a sudden or battery life significantly decreases. If you mostly play in docked mode then it's less of an issue. This is my unpatched v1, after 4 years and battery capacity is still at 4600-4700mah because I always use it in docked mode. However for my iphone that's less than 2 years old, battery capacity has already dropped to 85% as I charge it 1-2 times per day.

Everyday - just to be safe and have backup battery, later sell them
