How often do you clean your controller?

I’m making a poll for an article I’m writing for my blog. Do you clean your gaming controller? If so, how often?

If it needs it I guess, which isn't much. What I do keep clean is my hands, so maybe that's why the controller doesn't get dirty.

I used to buy retro controllers online and cleaned them inside and out with some alcohol and cotton buds. The gap between the two pieces of plastic making up the case and the contacts registering button input generally needed the most attention.

These days I rarely have a need to clean controllers. I did clean two Switch Pro Controllers a few months back because they had accumulated years of dust.

Other than dust? Nothing because I play with my hands clean, but Mother of God I have seen some really disgustingly dirty controllers that I bought used.

I don't even know how it got to that point (food and hair).

My hands are super sweaty so i have to clean after each use
