So you updated 4.82 CFW to 4.83 OFW?

You’re going to have to wait for a 4.83 compatible hack, or use hardware flasher if your console is compatible.

You should have updated to CFW 4.83.

You can't! Once you update to 4.83 then you are stuck. Get used PS3 under 3.41 or 3.55 at pawn store or at Ebay. Nothing you can do about it. No downgrade at all.

Yep absolutely, as long as his console is flasher compatible.

Currently 4.83 OFW can only be downgraded / CFW'D with a hardware flasher.
