Hacking How do I use the NDS Adaptor PLus

So I just got my new nds adaptor plus and I'm having trouble using it.

I put the CD in and run the program, it takes me to the manufacturers site and I download the files for the adaptor. I went and got the newest firmware files but when I try to install them I get a message saying it could damage my adaptor.

The adaptor doesn't recognize my PKMN White cart at the moment.

Can anybody offer any advice?

That is because it comes with the 1.0 firmware on it. You have to update to the 2.1 firmware of the NDS Adaptor plus before you can read/write pokemon HG/SS or B/W saves.
