ROM Hack How do i use savedatafiler?

I got the needed sav file for my pokemon neo y game but sadly its in savedatafiler format not jksv..
Does savedatafiler work for .cia versions of games and how do i restore the save. When i open savedatafiler i just see some numbers. I didnt see any game id like CTR-####

can someone tell me how to use that app.
