Homebrew Question How do I use cheats/texture packs on Mupen64plus Retroarch?

Retroarch on the switch is pretty great, especially overclocked. However, I’ve found no way to enable cheat codes for Mupen64plus. It would be useful because I can use widescreen codes, especially for games like F-Zero X, Mario Kart, Yoshi’s story and any other game that has a compatible cheat. as the 16:9 optimised mode makes it run more slowly.

Also, I tried to search for high resolution texture packs for Mupen64plus, but I only found a ROM patching tool, and a confusing guide involving Project64. No actual texture pack downloads anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated, as I’m still new to Retroarch.
