I downloaded Cafe SDK 1.7 and I have no idea what to do next. I know I was supposed to install Cygwin (said by cafe.bat).

What are you trying to do with it? If you have no idea what you are supposed to do with it, why do you still download it?

You currently can't do anything with it right now, because Cafe SDK doesn't produce binaries compatible with retail Wii U.

reverse engineer whatever is in it and make an sdk based on that. that is open source, of course
