How do i prepare my series x for a future exploit?

You missed a few things, the game script and notepad uwp that's been removed from store... there may be a second round release, there may not.

Edit : Is your console on one of the vulnerable OS?

Yea i missed the game script thing sadly and my firmware isnt vulnerable to the game script thing its 10.0.25398.4910

Least you can do is put it back in the closet till the available exploit gets further development to exploit other venues within these consoles.

EDIT : Otherwise, update and use it as it's intended and take advantage of the $1 dev mode.

Don't get so down about it, as it stands the exploit is a slightly glorified dev mode. The other exploit that allows game dumps, to my understanding, only dev kits are capable of playing our game dumps.

Dev mode cost $19 btw, but you can use retroarch and other emulators, and it is safe, you will not get banned.

my console is on an old firmware but i dont have the game script apps.what i should do?

However,after i checked it out my console is on 2910 which is not exploitable.If i buy a new one what should i look for?
If i were on an exploitable firmware,could i download the game script app?
