Yes, once you have generated an xDelta patch with your modded rom and the original untouched rom. you would apply the patch to any untouched rom to make it identical to your modded rom.
I need to make a Xdelta patch out of a modded rom?

I've only modded game files.

M8, he was using that as an example. Any file you create an xdelta patch from (based on the modded files and non-modded files) is what the patch would be used for. If you used it for a modded rom, it'd be used for modded roms (of that same type), if just games files, then game files.

I'm not sure I can patch my rom, I get an error. "delta3 target window checksum mismatch xd3_invalid_input"

Generated patch can be used only on file to which was compared.
You are sure you are applying patch to original file, not edited file?

Sorry to bump this older thread but, I'm newer to the whole game patching scene and I wanted to ask if there's a tutorial guide on how to make your own custom delta patches via Deltapatcher 2.0.1 . I've seen a few tutorials, but they don't really go into too much detail, and I'm having a hard time figuring this stuff out. If you could link any that would be great! Thanks any help is appreciated!
