How do i Install Windows 8 on my Laptop??

Any news on when it will be pushed via the "windows update" feature? i would rather download it using the windows update feature rather than manually. Or are they not doing that for some reason?

My windows update screen just says this right now lol:

My understanding was that Microsoft was pushing the update to all compatible computers by now, so you'll probably see it very soon. If you don't see it soon enough, you can click that link on the Windows Update screen where it says "Yes, show me more."

Using the tool, you download the Windows 10 Pro ISO, yes.

You can download and install the Creators Update manually on your Windows 10 Home machine. The update started being pushed to all systems at the end of July.

I thought that was when they start to push the Fall Creators? I've had the Creators for a long time.

just install Windows 10 through a usb with microsoft's tool

it runs quicker than Windows 8 too

and trust me, there's workarounds to paying for activation

It's best to worry about activation before beginning the installation process. If you wait until after the installation to worry about activation, then you only have silly options like KMS-activation left. That's why I recommend following my guide I posted earlier.

Either after 3 days, it will download Windows Update Assistant Tool and download Creator's Update or you can download it manually without waiting on Microsoft website. I suggest using this tool because Windows Update is wanky in some cases and might error out at the very end.

Hey, So i am upgraded to Win 10 using Lacius's method and it all works perfectly. However, i have noticed that the windows 10 itself seems to lag alot on my laptop. I find this weird since windows 7 diddnt lag at all, at least not to a noticeable effect. What i mean is that when i click on the start menu for example, the actual menu wont open up until at least 5-10 seconds after i click it. There is no immediate response and i was just wondering if there is any way to fix the lag that i am facing?

I heard resetting your PC via the windows menu can fix lag problems but what other options do i have?
