Hacking How do I get my R4 Running?

I have an R4 I bought around a year or 2 ago.
I remember it coming with some files and "Wood" but its been so long, I forgot.

a little update: The card finally showed up, but I keep getting an error saying "Can't open _dsmenu.dat"

I tried the Wood 1.62 (I think that’s latest)

is wood supposed to be launched with the sdhc? and did you update your 3ds at all the past years

I've got two diferent kernels for a 2014 and a 2017 (I think) R4 flashcart like yours.

If you'd like, I can upload it tomorrow afternoon.

What image showed up on your DS/3DS for the flashcart?

On mine, its bomberman related.

what version is your 3ds? I found a firmware download on the wayback machine. or you can download it yourself:

just find the correct date where the firmware for your 3ds version was released.

To answer some questions: my 3DS version is 11.8.
But I don’t think that’s the reason it doesn’t work, since the R4 also didn’t work on my friend’s A9LH system.
