DVD-R? mines can only read DVD+R ...and i want to burn wii games. so how do i fix this issue?

Just use the + ones then. They will work fine on Wii too. I'm using +R discs for all my games.

But to answer your question, try updating your burner's firmware

i have the same prob with a Standard dvd Burner, just use nero8 to burn your dvd+r wii games,

everyone keeps telling me to use img burn o.o
if i do have to do it with nero. is there a guide for it?

imgburn is free, so why not try it?
but in nero, look for something like burn/write image/iso

nero8 booktypes it automatically, i only recommend it cause its all i have ever used

guide

install nero8

click on ISO

and burn to the DVD

thats all i have to do

can i just use imgburn instead of nero8?
with the DVD +R?
or does that only read DVD-R?

You can use ImgBurn for all drives and all discs. Thing is though, if you plan on using DVD+R:s, you have to set book type to DVD-ROM for the DVD+Rs. ImgBurn tries to do this by default if you have a firmware on your drive that supports it; if not, you need to google up a modified firmware which allows for bitsetting, and reflash your drive with that. A good place to start for this is http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php

Imgburn will burn dvd+r's, you may have to manually set the book type though.

EDIT: Yar, beat me to it.
