Think of a drawing tablet as a piece of paper, and the stylus as a pen or pencil. Begin to relax your hand and start experiment drawing as if you're drawing normally on the paper. It can take a bit of practice to get used to it.

I've been doing that. When I use digital drawing software it feels like my art lacks "texture"

So you too... Some time ago i bought old wacom bamboo from second hand, i didn't get used as the paper at first
but to make it improve I placed a picture or scan of analog drawing set it to pale to and trace it's edges.
Here's my try... but still it feels like.. i rather paper and analog drawings.

Non graphical Tablets are not so precise medium as I thought, but are great for strokes and canvas rotation etc.
Sometimes strokes have to be repeated. Even for pixelart mouse seems to be more precise device.
