Homebrew How come there isn't a Genesis emulator for 3ds?

Because no one really cares about the Genesis enough to make an emulator. We have Game Gear which I believe can emulate Genesis.

Have you tried Genesis Plus GX and PicoDrive cores from Retroarch?

There's Genesis Plus GX and PicoDrive cores from Retroarch, which both can emulate the Genesis and Sega CD, while PicoDrive can also emulate the Sega 32X.

Yes!
I believe only N3DS can handle them, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Don't forget picodrive has Sega cd emulation and runs perfectly. Sonic cd plays just like it used to. Also runs knuckles chaotix at 50fps, but it also ran that on pc. Idk does the 32x just do that?

It's 50fps, because it's the EUR PAL version, unless you're referring to PicoDrive?

Gonna need that genesis plus, only way to play Pier solar and the great architects rom since no other emulator can. (Only they made 3ds and vita port) Maybe a switch port can happen.

That would be the Genesis/Sega Nomad. Released 1995 exclusively in NOA.
