I know this is in questions, but people might be wondering before putting custom firmware on their 3ds, can i get banned? Well, yes. but there is a way to disable getting banned. So, this is how to not get banned!
First go into System Settings, Then go to Internet Settings, select the SpotPass option, click automatic software downloads, press no. then press ok. Go to Sending of Usage Infomation, and click no. then click ok. Success! go back to the system menu. and put cfw on there and enjoy!
