ROM Hack How can I avoid corrupted saves on my 3DS

Hello everyone,

I have used PkHeX to generate some pokemon, but whenever I do, my save becomes corrupted. I know how to fix a corrupted save, but do you guys have any suggestions on how to avoid a corrupted save, because I always lose my generated pokemon when I have to fix my corrupted save. All help is appreciated.

Are you using a 3ds app for pokemon editing or exporting your save to a computer then editing? Also I say cheat freely unless it's an online multiplayer experience/competitive
