Hacking Hori Wii U Battle Pad

Is there any idea if the Hori WiiU Battle a Pad or that new Mario fight pad controller, will be compatible with Devolution?

the Hori one can be a Mario one btw, but I'm assuming you are talking about the PDP ones. They are just classic controller pro, so if classic controller works, it should also work.

More specifically, I'm thinking about the c-stick functionality and button mapping.

The PDP/Hori controllers NGC-style are recognised as Wii Classic Controllers because they're connected to a Wiimote and also worth mentioning that neither have analogue triggers (strange because the original Wii Classic Controller did).
