Looking at the 3ds xl screen protectors on play asia and there are two

Pitahari Filter

http://www.play-asia...en-70-52fx.html

Liquid crystal filter

http://www.play-asia...en-70-53av.html

Anyone know what the difference is?, as it doesn't say on play-asia.

Looking here http://www.hori.jp/p...l/3dsll_filter/ and here http://www.hori.jp/p.../3dsll_pfilter/, it looks like the pitahari one has an anti-reflective layer, but is that it? The broken English of google translate doesn't really help.

Thanks.

i see no reason why you would need a top screen protector as the screens touch in no way with the XL
on mine the 2 screens have a decent gap even with pressure applied

but if your really set on getting one

Pita-hari Filters give more of a Matt effect to a screen to reduce shine
but as 3DS XL has a glare reduced screen i would see no reason for it

Liquid crystal are more of a shiny screen protector but are normally a more screen like feel to them

Don't want the top filter, only a protector for the touch screen, but unless I missed it when looking, Hori only sell them as sets. If the only difference is the anti-reflective layer on the top screen, then I'll just grab the cheaper liquid crystal one as I'm only use the bottom one anyway.
