Hi all!

I need a little utility and i'm not a programer, so i pray for someone to help me.

Basically, it's a delete and rename program. I explain you:

I have several version/variants of a program. I want to delete the actual working version, make a copy of the other variant (with other name) and rename it to the correct name for do it work ok.

Example: working version -> prog.nds (it´s progA.nds renamed)
alternate versions -> progA.nds, progB.nds, progC.nds

execute utility -> 1. Select the new version of program to use (version B)
2. Del prog.nds
2. copy and rename progB.nds to prog.nds

It's for use several version of some plugins, firmwares, etc. Programs that it's no posible to execute directly.

Thanks for all programers that expend his time to read the post and double thanks for the one that answer me.

Well, Dsorgnize don't let rename archives, but in the case of it can do it, will be a slooow solution for use it frequenly.
I'm looking for an automatized method like a multiboot but without reset+launch, only select the archive to use the next time.

In any case, thank for your interest.

DSlinux features a nice bash terminal and fair file system support.

Failing that there is a DOS like program (essentially a command interpreter set up to mimic DOS).

The DsDOS have support for batch files like 'runit.bat'?

May be a good solution if it can.

You're more likely to get help with this if you offer some sort of retribution for the developer.

Seems that DS-DOS is enought for me by now. It's a little slow (the process) but it's a begining.
If all go well, i think to offer some money for a better program for do that.

Thanks to all that answers. Really!!!
