Homebrew Homebrew help required

Hello,

I have seen that there is a new hack out (from Drayano): Sinking Sapphire and Rising Ruby.

Short version:
my question: lets say i theoretically have a (U) Rom from Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby, is there a way to extract the exefs.bin and romfs.bin files without homebrewing my 3ds?

Long version:
To patch the game i need a exefs.bin and romfs.bin from the original game. To get those i need to dump a original ORAS Cartridge with a Homebrew Launcher. I tried to follow the tutorials here on the forums but
on my 3ds xl (old) (firmware 4.x) the browserhax does not work, neither does the themehax work.

The browser just says: Some mistake happened and shuts down and the themehax does not work because on my SD card (the big one in the 3DS) there is no such thing as a 3ds folder. I have setup my gateway card and already played rom hacks. So maybe this is the problem here.

i belive you need to be on 9.2+ for braindump as for themehax you need to change your theme just once and themes wernt a thing that early in.

then see if the guide helps you atleast get your foot into 9.2 and stay there untill you either A Need something kernel uses cant do or B Must have badge arcade.

If you could find some way to legally rip the rom, then you can just dump it on a computer.

Or you could be a bad boy and illegally download it. Your move.
