I have homebrew channel 1.0.1 and i've noticed that it takes longer to load when a disk is in the drive. Anybody else notice this? I think it might be that i installed DVDX but i'm not sure. Any ideas?

If I had to guess as to why that is, I'd assume it is because your Wii is accessing the disc in drive. Probably to show up the fancy animation in the disc channel (or assess if it is even a Wii-compatible disc).
But yeah, just eject the disc if it is taking too long for you. I don't really care either way.
