Hardware home screen loading slower?

since the last few updates, or is it just for me? i have a new persona Q theme on my 3ds and it takes about 30 seconds to a minute to load fully after the system has turned on. anyone else running into these problems, since the last few updates?

EDIT: before anyone asks, i take good care of my 3ds i never drop it. or let anyone get any water etc on it, if i have to take it someplace i make sure its in a sealed bag so that nothing can get to it (water etc) so i don't know whats going on.

it's normal. the 3DS simply isn't powerful enough to handle it all. You wouldn't feel anything with a N3DS

so its just not used to all the new bells and whistles, well its good to know that its just from the system not being powerful enough. guess i'll be trading up once the new systems come out, seeing that they seem a lot more powerful.

yeah. Nintendo keeps developing new stuff but the ppl who have a 3DS are the ones who get the short stick

yeah but either way i still love the system, where else am i gonna get my pokemon addiction from ^.^ also with persona Q on the 3ds i'm pretty happy with my choice, and as a added bonus we're getting xenoblade chronicles so it pays to kinda have a 3ds their getting some decent stuff.

well... xenoblade is a N3DS exclusive tho.
And you're right, despite everything the 3DS still is a great system, especially with the recent development of homebrew and all the library that it possesses. I would only trade my 3DS for a N3DS. nothing else would justify it.

It sounds like you have a bad/slow sd card.

it's not like it takes tons of time. but it's still slightly different than before themes were introduced

its alot quicker with the N3DS deffo worth having.
