HL2: Episode 3 at E3

Half-Life 2: Episode Three is definitely a possibility, and Half-Life 3 is too. I don't really care, as long as they make more Half-Life, Portal and other good games and release them on PS3 and Linux in the future.

OK people. OK. How many times do we have to go through this?
Repeat after me:
'THE HALF-LIFE 2 EPISODES ARE HALF-LIFE 3.'
VALVe said themselves, you know.

Yes, Newell has been quoted stating that the Half-Life 2 Episodes are essentially Half-Life 3, and even saying they should have been called Half-Life 3. Still, they didn't call them that, so I'd guess that the next Half-Life game will be called Half-Life 3 either way. After all, Valve didn't say that they'd only be doing episodes from that point on, and they haven't released a Half-Life game in years.

Even if all of that is not true, it doesn't change my post. I just said that an announcement of a new Half-Life episode or a new Half-Life game wouldn't surprise me.

I hope it will be Ep3, as I would like HL3 to be a completely different setting like HL1 was from HL2. Or maybe they could announce both.

Well, most people would say no comment, or not respond if it was true and they didnt want you to know. When he said fake, i would expect a big company like valve not to lie. But sure, i guess he could be lying.

Yes because developers never lie... "There will never be a Max Payne 3" "KOTOR 3 is in the process of development" "Duke Nukem Forever will be released" pick your lie ;p

If they lie they hype, just like we are hyping it up! Its what they want
