Hacking Highest Quality modchip for my drive?

I was wondering what the HIGHEST quality modchip for my wii is, meaning the absolute best compatibility and support. Here's what wiidrives tells me about my wii:

Get a CycloWiz, then flash it with YAOSM 3.0 (or whatever the latest version is.)

Cyclowiz can only be flashed to YAOSM 2.0. The latest version is 3.3

Get a PIC 12F683 and flash it with the latest version of YAOSM.

...or if you want a solderless solution, get a free-clip and flash that with YAOSM.

Main thing you'll need with the Free-clip is a computer with a Serial port.

If you have an old computer laying around it'll probably have one of those:

Download winpic800

1. Connect free-programmer to COM1
2. Connect usb cable from usb to free-programmer
3. Execute winpic800
4. Configure JDM programmer (Settings - Hardware - Select "JDM Programmer" - Press "Apply edits" button)
5. Insert free-clip into free-programmer
6. Press the "Detect" button in winpic800
If the program doesn't detect chip, plug it out and then plug it back in, press the discover button again...
7. When the winpic800 detects the 12F683 chip, press the read button
8. When it is finished reading it, open yaosm_12F683_twoleds.hex
9. Press the program button
10 When it is finished writing, the chip has been programed

After it's been programmed, you just install it like you would with any other Wii-Clip.

i would say the free-clip is the most convenient method for old wiis nowadays.

It has an English mode.

Open it up. Then go to Idioma - and choose English

Yes.

Only thing you have to do is flash it with YAOSM, then you just clip it in your Wii like every other Wii-Clip.
