Yes it will work. Then you can use it to downgrade then use CFW/Gateway and pirate games

What are you saying? We all know piracy is bad, and so we all use our own legitimately made game backups :P

Have you tried using a DNS.
Won't work. In order for the browser to work properly (starting with the 9.9.0-26), you need Nintendo's server to validate the browser as being the latest one at least once.

i want to use just legit cia for naw.. its so sad thet my new 3ds xl cant homebrew with broweshax pfff ,,,,
Well, you can always try SmashHaxx. Inconvenient, but after the first launch you can install MenuHax.

It dosen't work so try SmashHax (as suggested above) or buy Cubic Ninja.

Well, this works only if the browser has been launched successfully once.

what you meen in "browser has been launched successfully once" ? how to run him successfully?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I got browser blocked straight away on my new 9.9 n3ds, this workaround worked fine for me.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
