Hi Mei!

For everyone else, this is MeiAndTheSusuwatari from YouTube. She's been posting video walkthroughs of Ninokuni, and since there's a translation project I invited her to join and offer some of her knowledge on the game in that thread.

I've been looking in other areas outside of GBAtemp to bring in talent to help with the translation effort, and she's one of the people I came in contact with.

aww i should make some time to continue working on that i started a written walkthrough instead its much easier it was taking to long to record cuz i only have about 5 minutes of record time, ive got to get a better system

What made you interested in Ninokuni? Was it just a game you wanted to try because it looked interesting or another reason?

ACTUALLLY I'm a MAJOR ghibli geek and thats pretty much how i came across it :$ so when the DS version was available i had to get my hands on it

I tried not to watch Ghibli movies for a long time, but then one of my nieces fell in love with one and made me watch it. I haven't stopped watching them since.
They're quite unique

aww boo i love ghiblis I grew up watching totoro but it wasn't til much later i seen the rest of the like princess mononoke and so on
my older brother actually re introduced me to them a little later in life so now i've seen them all except some of the shorts- but i'm hoping to go to the ghibli museum this summer ^.^

I haven't actually payed a whole lot of attention to who's a girl and who's not, but i'm guessing there isn't to many ?

There's actually quite a few girls here, however, comparing the active user base, it's like 10 to 1 (guys to girls), if not more. xP
