I agree with every one to a point, I look at the DSi as sorta of a mini-Wii, It's interface, Download service, built in flash drive, and the SD card slot are all very much the same. So I thought about this matter for a sec and thought well why not just convert the Wii's emulators for the SD card? It would work fine then right?

HELLO OBVIOUS CODING NOOB!!

There are a few problems with your solution here.
1. The DSi's architecture is COMPLETELY different to that of the Wii's. It has a different processor with a lower clock speed AND less RAM.
2. Different processor mean that different coding is required to run the programs. Its the whole reason we need emulators in the first place. Emulators reinterpret the coding in the games into language that the processor you are using can understand.
3. Wii emulators will require a LOT more resources than are available on the DSi.
4. The DSi mode has not been completely hacked yet. We cannot load software off the SD card slot yet all we can do is inject a small bit of code into a save game file and execute it.

That should just about cover it. Have I missed anything?

Btw this is what I am doing to this man's dreams

Quick realisation of something else I should have put above.
5. The DSi and Wii's input methods are completely different.

Heres my take on it... You're practicing for a stupid-contest and you're going to win first place by a long shot...

QUOTE(Da-Bomb1 @ Jul 31 2009, 04:49 PM) It's like trying to Super Mario 64DS the DS to the NES. Not gonna happen.
But they got Super Mario 64 on a DS! We just got to rip the N64 emulator out of the game and inject our own roms! And the N64 must have been backwards compatable with SNES because they both use cartridges and since wii, ds and gba are backwards compatable that must mean all nintendo consoles are backwards compatible!

*Note to self.. Fake or not don't write like this again.. I felt my IQ dropping while typing it...*
