i put some snes games onto my dsi and i clicked them it said load rom with a rom.smc file i clicked on it and it just displays nintendo logo..

What homebrew are you using? Check its compatibilty list, some games are not supported. For example this is the TwiLight list.

i put ultimate mk3 and super mariokart

TWL++ uses snemulds to launch snes roms, I don't think super mk3 & smk work despite recent developments, snes emulation on ds is currently not very optimized, perhaps in the future.. .to be continued.
