Hi,

Sorry for all the questions-

I have an untouched Nintendo switch which is not patched.

I would like to put CFW on it and install games etc.

Is there a “perfect” guide for this and what system should I use? Can I install games and play them easily with atmosphere with no problems etc?

Thanks!

I have read up about these but still am unclear.

All I basically want to do is install and play games. What would be the best option? I am not bothered about not being able to be online etc’

sxos reinx both have incorperated sigpatches (allow installing of "backups")

Atmosphere/hekate doesn't have them by default but they have the option to get them

Then I would recommend https://www.sdsetup.com/ as you can choose your own configuration, has sigpatches built in and is pretty much 'plug and play'.
EDIT - Didn't read the previous posts, but this is probably the simplest way to get this up and running anyway.

The sig patches aren't included by default, they are an extra config option.

reinx is included by default and sxos was designed for piracy.

All of them are user friendly, except atmo has alot of ini files to edit for maximum configuration

Thank you, I will follow that guide. Just unsure which system to use.

It seems that most people use atmosphere, is this the superior programme?

End of the day they all do the same job, except atmosphere has alot more config options in the terms of .ini files to edit.

reinx and sxos are just plug and play

It's definitely the most feature-rich and flexible, it will work well without any extra configuration (at least in Kosmos)but the only disadvantage is that it can only play NSP games (which have to be installed) and no emunand.

I read somewhere that EmuNAND was going to be released for atmosphere soon!

Regarding atmosphere and having to install the NSP’s, what does that actually mean? Why is that so different than using reinx etc? Does it restrict on what games I can install or just takes longer?

The emumcc (emunand) will work on all cfw.

Installing nsp Is just an extra button you need to click when getting atmosphere/kosmos
