So I was running sx os over 5.1 and updated switch firmware to 6.2 using the Homebrew updater and now on 6.2 I love the payload for sx os it boots then when I go to album it doesn't load up and sends it back to the home screen. Could someone point me to where I messed up or how to fix this I still want to run cfw on 6.2 I'm just not sure what I did wrong

Is your sxos boot.dat file on your SD card for the latest version of SXOS 2.5.2 or 2.5.3? If not I would update that first and actually probably just replace it anyway incase it is somehow corrupt.

Good luck

It is the most recent yeah, it's weird I get the team xecuter logo everything but then that with the menu happens I guess I can try it. Again though just in case

People have reported random corruption when using exfat SD cards. I haven't personally had this issue but but worth a shot first, maybe format another SD card for testing if you have it available. Strange that it happen right after FW update.

Yeah and it's telling me I need a system update to use the exfat card which I already did a while ago before I took it offline for obvious reasons

Hmmm... Try it with a fat32 card just for testing, if all goes well I believe there is a way to manually install the exfat update without going online.

there is, but it's not simple. frankly once they get a version of your cfw of choice that works on 7.x, it's a damn sight less complicated to just let it connect and get the exfat update officially.

and exfat is okay for 99% of users, I believe it's only on certain homebrew stuff it has any issues, so if you're just looking to load xci or run nsp it's perfectly fine.

Sounds like when you updated to 6.2.0 you didn’t choose the exFAT option and lost your exFAT update. Now the Switch can’t read the SD card once it’s booted up.
