Wii Preloader stuck

Hi! so I bought this Wii from marketplace, and when i turned it on it just showed the preloader menu. What should i do?

Um, I'm a noob

... and i need help i got wiibrand and well i put the sdcard in the wii and I got to the messeges and opened the letter bomb.. inside was a bunch of jiberesh and when I tried to leave to the home menu it froze... PLEASE HELP ME
