Hacking help with Wii NAND ECC algorithm

I have a DIY hardware programmer for NAND flash and want to modify my Wii NAND for some test. I would like to know the ECC algorithm for Wii NAND and if there is some reference code. Could anyone help me?

I have my own DIY workable hardware/software to read/program NAND Flash. Just want to try if I can recover some non-factory-marked bad blocks.

Afaik this is the side project for bootmii by twiizers, but that's just a conclusion I got lurking through the hackmii irc logs...
