I'm currently just doing a bunch more searching as getting an error with the menuhax manager "failed to open homemenu extdata with extdataID" I'll just keep searching see if i can dig something up

Have you tried doing what I mention earlier? It's probably you haven't open home menu settings yet.

Well I was thinking you meant from the 3DS home click on "Settings" to create the folder on the microSD Card, but nw I have a feeling that means something more gonna search for that now thanks

Not that, It's on the upper left corner of the lower screen. The button where you change your theme and stuff.

So I now have burned through BrowserHAx, MenuHax, and currently going through OOTHax probably reset this thing more than 50 Times and every time I get to #5 then freeze, occasionally get to #7 and in 2 occasions I got the app to boot up but then nothing more from that point....

well finally got it to go with the menuHax and the original sysUpdater listed in the link on this post with 10.3 and update, errored out half way through install some error message from Nintendo and Now bricked! So looks like another 3ds in the trash oh well

Ok So Now its been downgraded and is at 9.2 and everything looks good, Got MenuHax reinstalled through BrowserHax again using the R Key instead this time, loaded Gateway's Launcher on the Root and their 3dsx file in the GW folder as the instructions called for uppon trying to launch it I just sit in a black screen so not sure as what to do next to get the gateway working again

That did it, went through and reinstalled both of them and now at 9.2 with Gateway Working, (also before i used sysUpdater I didnt want to make things worse so I loaded shovel Knight and did an upgrade to 9.8 first, then to 10.3) there never seemed to be an explanation as to what sysUpdater dd exactly and through another post someone was having issues and mentioned he was connected to wifi, So I disabled the set DNS set them to auto and every attempt I made I would load Bronty first and had far less attempts through menuHax.

So now I just need to figure out how to get all the old save files from my Gateway on the old 3DS to work with the new one, so more reading it is.
