Hacking Help with moding

I need to mod my Wii to play backup games via USB, here is what I have,

A usb drive
An unmodded black Wii "wifi unknown"
Burnable DVD's
Laptop with DVD burner and wifi

ModMii is all you need. Download and follow the instructions.

When you are finished soft-modding your Wii, install either WiiFlow Lite, USB Loader GX (or both) to play your backups using HDD/USB. Both have outstanding threads that offer plenty of help.
