Hacking Help with making backups

When i download a backup i end up with like 30 .rar files and 50 of some random other type. After i extract one i get a 4.37 gig .rar file that nothing can be extracted from. Is this really the iso file and my computers just associating it with winrar? I cant really download it and check because i dont have my modchip yet im just getting everything ready for it.

I do know that WinRAR associates ISO's, and the file is most likely an ISO file, but I'm not 100% certain.

In windows explorer , go to tools , folder options , view , the 12th line should be : "Hide extensions for know file types". uncheck this and hit OK

Now , you should be able to see the real extension of your 4.37 gb file. It should be .iso


If it is not , rename it to iso and burn it.


Winrar can be associated with ISO files , but it can't open raw iso backups.

Maybe the only software that will let you open these iso is Trucha signer.
