Homebrew Help with installing TWLoader through FBI

I recently installed Luma3DS onto my Old 3DS XL. I wanted to play some hacked ROMs for DS, so I installed both the CIA and 3DSX files for TWLoader through the FBI Title browser. Once I launched TWLoader the screen froze on "Now updating bootstrap (Release)..." and hasn't done anything for the past 10 minutes. I'm not sure what to do right now and I'm afraid of bricking my system - any help is appreciated.

most likely broken due to a github change just download them manually from here https://github.com/Robz8/TWLoader/releases just an fyi twloader has poor compatibility and only way to get around that is with a flashcart

twloader was discontinued, you need to install dsimenu++:

yes it is safe, it probably froze cause you have an old version of twloader that wasn't modified to work with the new github changes, just follow the instructions in the link i gave you and install dsimenu++.

the compatibility has increased a lot and most compatible games now run at cart speed.

Installed DSi Plus Plus but it crashes every time I try to launch a ROM, I can access the main menu to launch said game, but afterwards it crashes.

turn on the quick start function, press start at the dsi menu once it loads before choosing a game to bring up the menu.

it'll reboot one more time then it should work. Make sure you download the latest nds bootstrap at https://github.com/ahezard/nds-bootstrap/releases and replace the files in _nds folder on your SD card before you do any of this

Thanks for your help, I updated nds_bootstrap and everything's working now.
