Heyy all, it's been a long time since I've played my DS and I miss it. I used to know everything about my R4 cards but unfortunately, now I am probably considered a noob because I haven't used a flashcart in years.

I recently bought a TTDS from videogameplaza. I know it's probably fake so I haven't even tried the original TTDS software.

This is what I bought:
http://www.videogame...ted-p-8823.html

I have an NDSL

Here's what I thought I had to do

I downloaded 23208-ttmenu_en.7z, [5998]DSTT_FakeRecovery_v1.18_Beta.zip, and 27212-RetroGameFan DAT Update 6.73 5972.7z

I extracted the ttmenu to the root directory of my microsd.
I took the TTmenu.dat from fakerecovery and put it in the root, overwriting the original ttmenu.dat
I put the 4 different .dat files from retrogamefan and put it in the ttmenu folder on the root

It loads up fine but I have a few problems with it:

It loads up all my games from all my folders in one list. How do I change the setting to keep my folders and look like the details option on windows explorer (View\Details)?

A lot of my games, especially the newer ones won't load. It just shows a White screen. Do I have the latest retrogamefan file or is it wrong?

When I first turn my flashcart on, the first 'game' that shows up is TTMenu.nds with a picture of YS. When I turn the YSMenu on, it loads up like the details setting and keeps my folders. The problem is half my games still won't load. In fact, it either says it's loading (the loading bar always gets stuck) or goes to a white screen.

Sorry if this all seems like noob questions. I tried searching but there's so many different kinds of flashcarts and clones and instructions that I just don't know which ones to do. I'd prefer not to brick my ttds card so I figured let me ask the good people of GBATemp.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Ohh, and one more question please. I'm just curious what the symbols are that are listed in the games. I see a + symbol, a little red box that looks like a power button, a little silver box that looks like a cd with an arrow, a grey box with a key, and a box that shows the wifi symbol. The wifi one is obvious but what do the others mean?

Thanks again!

Well, I thought I read that the real DSTT wasn't being updated anymore and it's hard to get all the new games to work. I thought the YSMenu works for all the TTDS clones and therefore I would be fine with the cheapest one.

Could you please show me the real DSTT at videogameplaza? Thanks for your help!

Download RetroGameFan's kernel. Extract the archive on your computer. You only need one folder, and it's called DSTT_DSTTi TTmenu. Go inside that folder and copy over the 1 folder and 1 file that are inside to the root of your micro sd card. Make a new folder called DS Games on your micro sd card and place all your games in it. Your done!! :D
The symbols stand for download play (if it's available for the game), cheats (if its available for the game) and I can't remember the last one off hand.
Download the DS-Scene ROM Tool to get the newest usrcheat.dat file and place it inside the "TTmenu" folder if you want the newest cheats available.

Jimmy, that was perfect. It works beautifully on my DS. Thanks a lot!

The cheat thing was hard to find. For some reason, I kept getting this install file and it didn't even work. But I found the actual file and it seems to work.

Good looking out!
