Hello, does anyone know how to make an EmuMMC via backup files in HEKATE?? My eMMC fried and I get the "cant init eMMC" error. I know you can change the eMMC, but in my country is difficult to obtain one.

It broke because it run out of battery the same moment I unlocked it, after that black screen, I injected the payload to hekate, then CFW but the message is always the same. I tried to make the emuMMC with dd and the backup files, but no luck.

Or anyone have another solution for that? Thanks.

I was in the same situation months ago. There's basically no way around getting a working eMMC, as payloads and the Nintendo Switch OS will try to initialize the eMMC and fail. I, too, thought that I could make everything run on an emuMMC, but you would need to patch the kernel and the payloads, it is a mess.

When you say it is difficult to obtain one you mean you cannot buy from Aliexpress?

Edit: Can you still access the data somehow? Have you tried removing and putting the eMMC board back? You could also try reflowing the eMMC chip if you have the tools and skills.

No, the only fix is to get a new eMMC.
